MARK CASSE STABLE WINS 100TH RACE OF THE SEASON
The Mark Casse operation, with horses at Woodbine, Kentucky, Gulfstream etc. won its 100th race of 2018 yesterday at Gulfstream with Sierra Aleone.
At Woodbine the stable is 9 for its last 24 starters.

The ROYAL ST. LUCIA TURF CLUB bought a bunch of horses at the 2yo sale to populate its new track, 20 in all, and the Puerto Rico racing group bought 56 horses.
Canadian buyers:
PETER REDEKOP bought the sale topping Scat Daddy colt for $360,000 through agent Alistair Roden.
TERRY HAMILTON, through agent Alistair Roden, bought a Twirling Candy filly for $36,000.
BEAR STABLES paid$102,000 for a filly by the The Factor and $22,000 for a Gemologist filly, bought through agent Patrice Miller.
RYAN KERBEL bought a Forty Tales juvenile for $7,000 and a Morning Line colt for $20,000.
KANNY NG paid $5,500 for an Uncaptured colt.
