Canada’s premiere horse racing event and can’t-miss social event of the summer is set to return this August, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever!
Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, April 27 for the 165th running of The King’s Plate, Saturday, August 17th at Woodbine Racetrack.
Last year, tickets sold out six days prior to the race. Due to demand, capacity has been increased for this year’s event, providing a greater opportunity for people who have never experienced the thrill of live horse racing to join in on the festivities. The expanded event includes the return of the popular Hats & Horseshoes party in front of the Woodbine Racetrack Grandstand, with tickets starting at $25.
The King’s Plate is more than just the race itself: it’s the perfect opportunity to dress up for an outing with friends or family, a must-attend event for fashionistas, and a gourmet destination for foodies.
Attendees can choose their level of experience: from general admission to elevated dining and seating packages.
Tickets can be purchased on Saturday by visiting woodbine.com/kingsplate or Ticketmaster.ca.
