Fort Erie Race Track was the scene for the THIRD leg of the ONTARIO SIRES HERITAGE SERIES for three-year-olds by Ontario stallions, and two races were run at 6 1/2 furlongs on the dirt.

The RONDEAU BAY STAKES for three-year-olds went to TAKEMYBOURBONNEAT, a newcomer to the series, who strolled to a 2 3/4 length win under Sofia Vives for owners ICON Racing Stables and trainer Anthony Adamo.

Takemybourbonneat (Souper Speedy) was claimed from her previous race for $25,000 (a win for trainer Mike Mattine) and Mattine had claimed the filly from breeder Keowee Racing Stable. On Tuesday, in her first dirt attempt, Takemybourbonneat sped the distance in 1:16.43 for her fourth career win in nine races.
