A weanling filly by top Canadian sire SILENT NAME (Jpn) from the Signature Red mare Crimson Invasion topped the first CTHS National Digital Mixed Sale, which ended on November 26, at $14,000. The sale topper was one of several offered by Darlene Hayes’ Hillsborough Stables, agent, which was representing Howard Walton’s Norsemen Racing. The filly is a full sister to stakes winner Red Equinox and she was purchased by Mario Forgione.

The Digital Mixed Sale was held from Nov. 20-25 and had about 100 entries from across Canada. The final tally saw 53 horses of all ages sell for $179,750 for an average of $3,372 and a median of $2,750.

There were several horses who reached higher bids during the on-line auction, but they were listed as not sold. Those included SLEVEN, a yearling son of Mohaymen from the War Pass mare Terri’s Pass, who reached a bid of $24,000 but was not sold. The consignor was David Jones.
