Toronto, ON – The excellent, well-researched analysis of Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing offered on TV by Woodbine Entertainment Group’s stable of on-air talent is being extended to the company’s website at www.woodbineentertainment.com/woodbinecolumn.

Eight of Woodbine’s on-air commentators, four Standardbred, four Thoroughbred, will write weekly columns and give opinions about local racing and anything else that might matter in the sport.

On the sulky side, Greg Blanchard, Mike Hamilton, Chris Hickey and Ken Middleton Jr. weigh in with opinions, picks, stories, features, etc. on all aspects of the sport.

The Thoroughbred side will feature Elissa Blowe, Jeff Bratt, Chris Connor and Renee Kierans.

“Our TV personalities have some of the strongest opinions on the local racing scene and they display it on TV every day,” said John Siscos, Woodbine’s Senior Manager of Racing Communications.  “The Columns webpage gives them a chance to offer this strong analysis and perspective on another prominent platform like www.woodbineentertainment.com.”

The website visitor will also get a chance to have an opinion in three ways.

First, each of the commentators’ columns will feature a poll.  It will be clear on which side of the fence the racing public will be.

A posting forum will also be available.

Finally, the Columns webpage will have a feedback function, columncomments@woodbineentertainment.com, which will give fans a chance to give suggestions on discussion topics, etc., with each individual on-air host.

Guest columnists will be offered space, from time to time, to offer their opinions.
