Rexdale, ON – Offering an exceptional consignment of quality Thoroughbreds, the annual CTHS Winter Mixed Sale is set to take place on December 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at the Woodbine Sales Pavilion in Rexdale, Ontario.
Over 165 horses have been catalogued for the sale, which include broodmares, stallions, weanlings, yearlings, and stallion shares along with 14 horses of racing age. Included in the group are 44 weanling and 14 yearling offerings by such top Canadian sires as Ascot Knight, Bold Executive, Ciano Cat, Elajjud, Kiridashi, Peaks and Valleys, Perigee Moon, Porto Foricos, Tethra, Trajectory, and Whiskey Wisdom as well as by leading U.S. sires such as Hold That Tiger and With Approval. Also scheduled are 95 mares in foal to top sires such as Ascot Knight, Bold Executive, Bold n’ Flashy, Foxtrail, Impeachment, Marquetry, One Way Love, Peaks and Valleys, Perigee Moon, Tejano Run, Tethra, Trajectory, Van Nistlerooy, Victory Gallop, and Whiskey Wisdom.
“We’ve already had a great response to our upcoming sale, due to the value and diversity of the stock catalogued,” said Julie Coulter, General Manager of the CTHS (Ontario Division). “Not only are there a good group of notable broodmares in foal to some excellent Canadian and U.S. sires, but well bred Thoroughbred stock as well. There’s certainly something for everyone at this Sale.”
Ms. Coulter also noted that due to the successful online viewing of their Yearling Sale last fall, the Winter Sale will also be featured as a live webcast on their CTHS website.
Horses will be available for inspection on the Sale grounds from Friday, December 1st at 9:00 a.m. through to Saturday, December 2nd up until commencement of the Sale.
