Harry Palmer, DVM (‘Doc’) passed away on December 10, 2009, at the age of 93. Dr. Palmer was a well-respected equine veterinarian whose practice encompassed almost 30 years with the Toronto Mounted Police, at the CNE and the Royal Winter Fair and for horse owners throughout the Toronto area. He founded and operated the Thornhill Veterinary Clinic from the 1950’s until his retirement.
Harry will be missed by his family and the many members of the equestrian community who had the pleasure of knowing him over the years. Funeral services were held in Alliston, ON, on December 20, 2009.
