SUMMER SUNDAY a super SALES STORY

The 2019 Canadian Premier Yearling Sale is Thursday Aug. 29

SUMMER SUNDAY seeks her fourth straight stakes victory Sunday (of course) in the Grade 3 Seaway Stakes and this Silent Name (Jpn) – Dancing Allstar, Millenium Allstar filly is just one of many great advertisements for buying a yearling from the CANADIAN PREMIER YEARLING SALE, hosted by the CTHS ONTARIO on Thursday August 29, Noon.

The night before the sale at Woodbine, there are six stakes races for sales graduates with the country’s top sprinter PINK LLOYD seeking to remain undefeated this  year following four stakes wins in 2019.

(How great would it be to see SUMMER SUNDAY and PINK LLOYD face each other one of these days??)

SUMMER SUNDAY, who co-topped the 2016 yearling sale at $95,000 was raised and sold by Gail Wood’s WOODLANDS FARM, a longtime leading breeder and consignor in Canada. The attractive bay filly was the apple of owner Bill Scott’s eye at the sale and trainer Stuart Simon made sure he had the winning bid for his client.

(You can read Summer Sunday’s story and four others at www.cthsont.com under Quick Links)
