Trainer Josie Carroll is sending Avie’s Mineshaft out this Saturday in hopes of winning the $100,000 La Lorgnette Stakes at Woodbine.
Avie’s Mineshaft wore down the favoured Woodbine Oaks champion, Dixie Moon, in the $225,000 Wonder Where Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack.
