Since Hastings racecourse was shut down by Great Canadian Entertainment, horsepeople are looking for places to race.
The B.C. government had recently announced it was halting the slots revenue sharing program with the track and its horsepeople.
The five-year program will provide a 35% owners' bonus and an additional 15% added to the BC-bred bonus for yearlings purchased at the sales.
