The 47th Annual Sovereign Awards is proud to include a tribute to the success of Off-Track Thoroughbreds in their second careers at this year’s live event.
The Jockey Club of Canada invites Off-Track Thoroughbred owners to submit a second career action photo of a registered Thoroughbred highlighting their post track career. The Thoroughbred must be Canadian bred or have made at least one start in Canada to be eligible for submission. A tribute video will be played throughout the 2021 Sovereign Awards ceremony featuring selected submissions.
All submissions must include the Thoroughbred’s registered name and a photo in jpeg or pdf format.
Please send the information, via email, to jccafterwetrack@gmail.com no later than Monday, March 7, 2022. Any entries received after the deadline will not be included in the Sovereign Awards tribute video.
The Jockey Club of Canada will host the 2021 Sovereign Awards on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Universal Eventspace in Vaughan, Ontario.
Tickets to the 47th Annual Sovereign Awards Ceremony are $250 each, with tables of ten discounted to $2000. Early-Bird tickets are also available for a discounted price of $225 until March 15, 2022. Tickets can be purchased online HERE. The price displayed is inclusive of HST.
