As the thrilling 2023 racing season at Assiniboia Downs draws to a close, horse racing fans are gearing up for a spectacular finish. The race meet’s grand finale is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, 2023, and includes some significant opportunities for horseplayers.
One of the highlights of this final race day is the mandatory payout of the ASD Jackpot Pick 5 pool, which is poised to offer an estimated carryover of approximately $150,000 and could see the total jackpot grow to over $500,000 on the day.
In addition to the ASD Jackpot Pick 5 pool, the day’s festivities will also feature a mandatory payout of the Classic Hi-5 pool, which will be seeded with an additional $3,186 heading into the race 7 final, in addition to any carryover from race 6 if there isn’t a winning ticket.
