The BC horsepeople will hold an HBPA Information Session webinar, live Thursday, January 15th from 7–8pm, and open to all Hastings Racecourse owners, trainers, fans, and anyone interested in the future of horse racing in BC.
HBPA Directors will provide updates on actions taken following recent changes announced by the Province of BC, Great Canadian Entertainment and the City of Vancouver; explain how to access the Hastings backstretch, and share race, stall, and incentive information from Century Mile (Edmonton), Assiniboia Downs (Winnipeg) and Emerald Downs (Seattle) for those considering alternate locations to run horses in early 2026. The session will also address the future of racing in British Columbia.
