BARRY ARNASON, co-breeder of champion ESCAPE CLAUSE, paid $35,000 (US) for CONQUEST TIZFIRE at the opening session of the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale in Lexington. Arnason, who bred Escape Clause with Cam Ziprick in Manitoba picked up Conquest Tizfire from Taylor Made Sales Agency who sold the $130,00 earner by Tiznow as a racing or broodmare prospect.

Conquest Tizfire is a half sister to four stakes horses and her second dam is graded stakes winner White Mischief (GB).

Dr. John Brown, owner of SPRING FARM in Granton, ON, paid $19,000 for KODIAK KOCKTAIL, a daughter of champion Kodiak Kowboy and a half sister to two Grade 2 winners. The young mare is in foal to Jimmy Creed. Dr. Brown stands the successful young Ontario sire Big Screen.
