Baffert is "at a loss to understand" why Churchill Downs will continue to keep the trainer out of its tracks for another year.

In May, a federal judge granted a motion by Churchill Downs attorneys for summary judgment dismissing Baffert’s lawsuit alleging that CDI failed to give him due process before the suspension.
