Country Boy 123, Ajax Downs’ Horse of the Year for the past three consecutive seasons, makes his much anticipated 6-year-old debut on Sunday during the track’s special Mother’s Day celebration.
This is the second racing day of the 50th anniversary of racing at Ajax Downs. The track has plenty of affordable 50th anniversary merchandise on sale at the trackside kiosk.
The first 100 ‘Moms’ will receive a $2 betting voucher and a flower before enjoying an action-packed day of Quarter Horse racing including the featured sixth race, a $20,000 open allowance dash at 300 yards.
