The CTHS-BC’s annual Yearling and Mixed Sale is set for August 28 at the Thunderbird Show Park in Langley and pedigrees can be perused on the CTHS website.
There are 53 horses catalogued including several yearlings by leading BC sires Sungold, Bakken, Lent, Counterforce, and Pop Artist.
First-crop sires represented include Basin and Halladay. Basin, by Liam’s Map, won the Hopeful Stakes (G1) as a two-year-old at Saratoga. Halladay is by War Front and he won the Fourstardave Stakes (G1) at one mile on turf at Saratoga.

Klimes Farm, agent, offers a filly by promising young US sire Sharp Azteca from the Curlin mare Cash in My Pocket.
Stride Away Thoroughbreds sells a grey filly by Practical Joke from the stakes-placed Yes It’s True mare Champagne Gal.
Mike Anderson’s consignment includes a Sungold gelding from Daylight Cat and this is a half-brother to stakes winner Bold Arch.
Foundation Stable, Red Rock Farm, agent, offers a filly by Sungold out of stakes winner Godailgo, dam of stakes winner Weekend Wizard.
