In response to COVID-19, the CTHS (ONT) Board of Directors have discussed and are planning to host our Canadian Premier Yearling Sale on September 3rd, 2020. We are moving forward with the intention of conducting the Yearling Sale as scheduled. If the unknowns at this time change because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we will plan and adapt after consultations with our members, and prepare to facilitate and focus on new arrangements. The sale is of imperative importance to the Ontario Thoroughbred Breeders and purchasers, and our focus is to produce and provide a successful sale.
We will continue to monitor and assess the Pandemic situation, as Health Officials and Government provide updated information, and will keep you advised and updated as circumstances develop.
Deadline for entries is June 1st, 2020, with a refund in all fees if Yearlings are withdrawn by July 15th, 2020. Contracts will be mailed out in May.
The Board of Directors appreciates your patience during these very difficult times.
We would like to remind you that both the CTHS (Ontario Division) and National Offices continue to take the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our employees, directors, families and members as a top priority. Our offices at Woodbine continue be closed until further notice.
