There have been confirmed reports of EHV-1 in two Standardbreds in Ontario, from horses that either were or are at the Campbellville Training Centre.
Due to the infectious nature of this disease it is important that decisive measures be taken to protect our equine athletes. Therefore, no horses that are or were stabled at the affected training centre from April 29, 2013 be allowed to race in Ontario until further notice.
