One of Woodbine’s top riders, EMMA-JAYNE WILSON, will be sidelined from racing following an accident at Woodbine on Sunday.
Wilson shared with her fans her injuries early Monday morning on Twitter:
Wilson was injured when her mount NOTICE ME, a 3-year-old Ontario bred filly broke down on the E.P. Taylor Turf Course in the first race. The Court Vision filly, owned by Kingfield Farms and P. Fuller and trained by Catherine Day Phillips was even-money in the grass race and she was a 2-time winner in her first nine starts in a promising career.
Wilson is fifth in the leading rider standings with 49 victories and almost $2 million in purse earnings.
