Canadian riding star EMMA-JAYNE WILSON guided JUNGLE COVE to victory in the Shergar Cup Mile on Saturday at Ascot as part of the popular jockey competition, now in its 21st year.
Wilson, who has been a part of the ladies team in the series for several years, joined Hayley Turner, Nicola Currie and Joanna Mason in the competition against riders from the world and Great Britain/Ireland. It was the latter that won the 2022 series and Neil Callan won the Silver Saddle for most points.
Wilson, arguably the most popular rider from another country in the Cup, was prominent on social media as she did interviews and did fun teaching videos on how to do the ‘floss’ move.
Recap story HERE.
Seriously, we need more Emma-Jayne Wilson's 😁
Might get in trouble for losing her helmet though 🙈#ITVRacing | #DDFShergarCup | @Ascot | @EJWilson81 pic.twitter.com/WoqtyOhsJn
