Grade 1 winner COLLUSION ILLUSION, who stands at Ballycroy Bloodstock near Loretto, ON, was represented by his first foal when Law Abidin Annie produced a filly early on the morning of February 1. Law Abidin Annie, an unraced five-year-old by Street Sense, is a full sister to graded stakes-placed Sweet Swingin and a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Law Abidin Citizen. This is the immediate family of Grey Stakes (G3) and Black Gold Handicap winner Truth Of It All and Grade 1 winner I Ain’t Bluffing.

The new filly was bred by Dan Agnew, who was a co-owner of Collusion Illusion during his racing career.

Collusion Illusion (Twirling Candy – Natalie Grace, by First Dude) won the first two starts of his career as a two-year-old including the Best Pal Stakes (G2) at Del Mar. As a three-year-old, the Mark Glatt-trained colt reeled off three straight victories in California including the Laz Barrera Stakes (G3) and the Bing Crosby Stakes (G1), defeating, coincidentally, Law Abidin Citizen, among others.

Later in his three-year-old season, the speedy horse was third to Charlatan and Express Train in the Malibu Stakes (G1) at Santa Anita.

Collusion Illusion stands for $6,000 and stands at stud alongside Tamarkuz and Ballycroy’s newest addition, Gufo, a three-time Grade 1 winner in New York.
