The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is asking for feedback from stakeholders and other interested parties on modernizing Canada’s Feeds Regulations.
The agency has initiated a multi-year review of its regulatory framework for food safety, plant health and animal health. The livestock feed regulations are being reviewed as part of this process. An online public consultation package is now available. Click here to visit the landing page where there is a link to the discussion paper and another to the survey.
The deadline for comments is October 5, 2012. A report on the feedback from this survey will be published in the late fall.
