HERE’S HANNAH shrugged off a bid from feisty 3-year-old Sunburst on the last turn and powered away to win the Grade 3 Ballerina Stakes at Hastings Park on Saturday in Vancouver. It was the 5th win in 6 races this year for the BC-bred who is 12 for 14 in her career.

Her time for 1 1/8 miles was 1:49.91 good for an 81 Beyer Speed Figure according to Daily Racing Form.

Here’s Hannah was a Sovereign Award nominee for Champion 3-year-old filly last year and is a serious contender for Champion Older Mare in Canada (main track) for 2019.

The 4-year-old is by Numaany (A.P. Indy) from Dreams Start Here by A Fleets Dancer and she is owned and was bred by B C Stables and trained by John Morrison.
