In less than 100 days, the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park and the Pan Am Cross-Country Centre will play host to nearly 150 Pan Am equestrian athletes and horses, and at least 3,000 spectators per day in the Pan Am Games, one of the world’s largest sporting events.

Town of Caledon Mayor Allan Thompson, Town of Mono Mayor Laura Ryan, Town of Caledon Council, and Town Hall staff commemorated the TO2015 Pan Am Games milestone day with a flag raising ceremony at Town Hall yesterday, April 1, which marked 100 days until the Games.

“We are so excited to be this close to welcoming the world to Caledon,” said Mayor Thompson. “The venue (Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park) is absolutely impressive. We have a lot to be proud of.”
