The Ocala Breeders’ sales June auction of Two-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age wrapped up Thursday and there were several buyers from Canada.

ROBERT MARZILLI, who raced 2016 Horse of the Year Caren, bought three juveniles including one in partnership with JDLP Holdings. Marzilli, who races under Zilli Racing Stable, had a homebred debut winner last weekend at Woodbine, Lady Urus, trained by Steven Chircop.

Chircop also trains for JDLIP Holdings and the owners got together and purchased an Ontario-bred at the Ocala sale. The team paid $105,000 for a colt by Good Magic – Unreachable by Giant’s Causeway. The youngster is a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Lemon Pop and a full brother to King’s Plate hopeful Equivoque. The colt was bred by Saintsbury Farm near Lucan, ON.
