Moira Joins Goodnight Olive at Tuesday’s November Sale

Some of the most valuable broodmares and prospective broodmares are up for sale November 7 at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky in The November Sale, beginning at 2 p.m. at Newtown Paddocks.

MOIRA, the 2022 Horse of the Year who was third in the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1) at Santa Anita on Saturday, is the most recognizable Canadian horse in the sale. Offered as hip number 156 by Hill ‘n’ Dale at Xalapa, agent, Moira (Ghostzapper) will sell as a racing or broodmare prospect. She is currently owned by X-Men racing, Madaket Stables and SF Bloodstock.

The 2021 Woodbine Oaks winner MUNNYFOR RO, by Munning, is also in the sale and she is carrying her first foal after a breeding to Curlin.

One of the biggest names in the sale is two-time Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprinter winner GOODNIGHT OLIVE, by Ghostzapper.
