Champion two-year-old colt MY BOY PRINCE scored a workmanlike win in the King Corrie Stakes at seven furlongs on Sunday, May 19 at Woodbine, the fourth straight stakes win for trainer Mark Casse.

My Boy Prince, owned by Gary Barber, was 1-to-9 against four overmatched three-year-old rivals in the $114,200 race. He tracked the speed of Maximus Magic early in the race and when jockey Sahin Civaci gave him his cue, he was quickly on the lead. The grey colt galloped to a 6 3/4 length win in 1:23.04. Roi Soleil was second over Woodstock Stakes winner Midnight Mascot, also trained by Casse.

A feel-good colt, My Boy Prince was third in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) at Del Mar last fall. At Woodbine, he won the Cup and Saucer Stakes on turf and the Simcoe Yearling Sales Stakes.
