Rexdale, ON – The Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society of Ontario is proud to announce that Not Bourbon, a Charles Fipke homebred, is the Overall Champion of the new Ontario Sired Racing Rewards Program. The son of Not Impossible (IRE) collected $885,000 in earnings this past racing season along with four Stakes wins. The Sovereign Award and Queen’s Plate winner is also Ontario’s latest racing millionaire with career earnings of just over $1 million.

Established in time for the 2008 racing season, the new bonus program rewards breeders of the top Ontario Sired foals who compete in black type stakes races run in Ontario with $120,000 in cash rewards and breeding certificates.

“The CTHS of Ontario is delighted to be able to offer such a significant program to reward the breeders of our elite performers,” says Tim Orlando, CTHS Marketing Chair. “This program offers a real opportunity for significant cash rewards that go directly to the hands of our breeders and we look forward to continuing and expanding the program in the years to come.”
