Elmont, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today launched BelmontStakes.com, a website dedicated to the prestigious third jewel of thoroughbred racing’s storied Triple Crown, scheduled to be run this year for the 141st time on Saturday, June 6 at Belmont Park.
The brand new website, designed by AmericanEagle.com, offers visitors a myriad of great Belmont Stakes content, including videos, podcasts, photo galleries, news, race day information, a section dedicated to the race’s history, and special content from the Daily Racing Form. In addition, the website features blogs from four racing experts: Teresa Genaro, Lisa Grimm, and NYRA’s own Jenny Kellner and Andy Serling. The website also allows fans to sign up for the Belmont Stakes Prize Package, offering the chance to win tickets, hotel, and airfare to the 141st Belmont Stakes this year.
“NYRA is dedicated to providing fans with the best possible online content, and BelmontStakes.com is a reflection of that commitment,” said NYRA Director of Communications & Media Relations Dan Silver. “This website will allow people to interact with and learn about the Belmont Stakes on an entirely new level.”
BelmontStakes.com joins a group of NYRA online offerings that includes NYRA.com and NYRAGroupSales.com, along with NYRA’s official websites on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, and Youtube.
