When the 2-year-old dark bay filly DREAMINOFPASSION powered her way to the lead in a maiden filly race at Woodbine on November 18, she became the first winner for her young sire PASSION FOR ACTION, who stands at Colebrook Farms in Uxbridge, ON.

Dreaminofpassion, bred and owned by Joey Gee Thoroughbreds, had registered a :46.40 bullet workout for four furlongs at Woodbine on November 11 for trainer Andrew Smith.

Ridden by Corey Jordan, Dreaminofpassion, a daughter of the Gotcha Gold mare Dreaminofcarmela C, chased a hot pace of :22.05 for the first two furlongs and moved to the lead late on the turn for home. Despite racing greenly, the filly drew off to win by three lengths over her 11 rivals in 1:05.75 for 5 1/2 furlongs.
