And Pink Lloyd’s race bridle goes to…… John Peri with the closing bid of $7,550!

PINK LLOYD, one of the greatest Canadian sprinters in history, recently retired to LongRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society in Hillsburgh, Ontario and his trainer Robert Tiller donated the gelding’s racing bridle for a recent auction to benefit LongRun.

The final bid logged in on December 17 and it was Peri who won a late battle with David Anderson to secure the bridle.

Mr. Peri is part of the Entourage Stable who owned Pink Lloyd.

Pink Lloyd has transitioned to life in a big paddock at LongRun smoothly and he’s already had a number of visitors including Tiller and groom Michelle Gibson.
