Prospective, who clipped heels in a troubled trip in May’s Kentucky Derby, overcame a stumbled start to capture Sunday’s $153,300 Victoria Park Stakes at Woodbine.

The John Oxley colt, trained by Mark Casse and ridden by Luis Contreras, faced three rivals in the mile and one-eighth event over the Polytrack, after the scratch of Malibu Moon.

It was the fourth stakes win for the Grade 3 Grey Stakes winner who came into the Victoria Park off an impressive run at the U.S Triple Crown that included scores in the Pasco Stakes and Grade 2 Tampa Bay Derby, both at Tampa Bay Downs.
