Headlined with CHRHF Honoured Member Standardbreds, Shadow Play (CHRHF Class of 2022), and McWicked (CHRHF Class of 2020) as well as Thoroughbred Heart To Heart (CHRHF Class of 2021), the second Annual “Continuing Hall of Fame Legacies Auction”, features 25 breedings to CHRHF horses, or horses with pedigree connections to CHRHF inducted horses. The auction recognizes the important role Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame member horses continue to play as part of today’s breeding industry.

The auction is being conducted online at auction.canadianhorseracinghalloffame.com.

Bidding opens on Thursday, January 12, and continues until January 18, with closing times for horses spread throughout the day. Details about breeding contracts, starting bids for each horse, and auction terms and conditions are also available on the auction site.

Old Forester – Pedigree includes Northern Dancer (CHRHF Class of 1976), Secretariat (CHRHF Class of 2013), South Ocean (CHRHF Class of 2017) and Nijinsky II (CHRHF Class of 1976). Old Forester won the Cliff Hanger S. at The Meadowlands, Canadian Turf S. at Gulfstream and Santa Claus S. at Calder.
