Woodbine Entertainment today released an updated list of Canadian-bred three-year-olds eligible to the 160th running of the $1 million Queen’s Plate set for June 29.

A total of 52 three-year-olds have been nominated to the 1 1/4-mile opening leg of the Canadian Triple Crown following the May 1 sustaining payment deadline, including four supplements Bitethebulletbro, One Bad Boy, Rising Star and Suitedconnected.

The Sovereign Award-winning colt Avie’s Flatter continues to the headline the list of eligibles and will be running in today’s Grade 2 American Turf Presented by Ram Trucks over 1-1/16 miles on the Kentucky Derby undercard at Churchill Downs for Ontario owner/breeder Ivan Dalos and trainer Josie Carroll. The Flatter-Avie’s Empire colt went three-for-four and earned more than $250,000 during a juvenile campaign that included back-to-back victories at Woodbine in the Cup and Saucer Stakes over 1-1/16 miles of turf and the Coronation Futurity over 1-1/8 miles on the Tapeta. He kicked off his sophomore campaign a month ago winning the Grade 3 Kentucky Utilities Transylvania Stakes over 1-1/16 miles on the turf at Keeneland.
