Hastings Racecourse and Slots in agreement with all three B.C. Racing Associations announced the cancellation of the Saturday, July 20th card at Hastings Racecourse. The Friday Night Live card (July 19th, 7:00 p.m.) and Sunday’s matinee card (July 21st, 1:50 p.m.) proceeded as scheduled.
A flu virus has recently spread through the barn area at Hastings Racecourse and it continues to have a significant impact on the horse population.
Hastings Racecourse apologizes to patrons for any inconvenience caused by these scheduling changes. The Saturday, July 20th lost day may possibly be made up at some point during the balance of the 2013 meet.
