Only five entered in the Fury Stakes at 7 furlongs and stakes winner Shifty brings speed and stamina and a big recent win to the table.

Two-year-olds at 5 furlongs open the first Pick 4 and it’s a nice field. Daou has had any number of big workouts and her sire won first time out. Border Czar has debut winners all over her pedigree, nice workout times and trainer Minshall has already had a debut winning juvenile at the meeting. Likely Story is out of Caren, a Canadian Horse of the Year. Meilani is bred for grass, worked 10 seconds flat in March under heavy whip.

RACE 6: 6- MIKELLE; 9 – RAREIFIED (IRE); 7 – FLASHY MOTOR; 8 – SCAT GIRL
If the race stays on the grass, second time starter Mikelle has a loaded grass pedigree and a pleasing debut run from last year.

Newcomer Hoshiana cost some money overseas and is a nice prospect locally for Mike Repole. Tons of speed in this race and she should be able to run them down.
RACE 10: 9 – WOZNIACKI; – EM CHAMAS; 6 – JUST PRAY; 2 – CITORI; 5- MONTY’S INN
Wozniacki makes her debut from a wide post but has been working with recent debut winner Sultana. Em Chamas (‘on fire’) looks fast as does Just Pray, but the latter has tried to race twice and got loose each time.
