The first leg of the first Pick 4 has an interesting mix of beginners and experienced maidens. Springer was my pick 2nd time out last year and he was long odds and led into the stretch run. The Givens barn is off to a good start. Big Screen Boss is from an old mare who has had 13 foals to race, all winners, including graded SW Cruden Bay,SW Sav and oters. Three of her foals won first time out. This guy was working last April. Perfectworks had a quick little workout for that 2 year old sale in Florida last June and has had some fast prep times.

RACE 7: 2 – SOMETHINABOUTHER; 8 – WAR SIGNAL; 9 – BRINDI (IRE); 7 – ARISTELLA
The Ruling Angel Stakes is an overnight dash at 7 furlongs. Grade 3 winner Somethinabouther would prefer more distance it seems but she has a class edge. War Signal is a Woodbine Oaks hopeful as is Aristella.
RACE 8: 2- BOLT ENOREE; 6 – LIAM’S GIFT; 5- GILD THE LILY; 1 – WICKENHEISER
This is a competitive race but I like the workout times on 2-time winner Bolt Enoree
RACE 9: 1 – SO CALLED VACATION; 3 – LEGS LIKE GIZMO; 7 – AUDAX MINOR; 4 – CONTRIVANCE; 2 – NIGHT STRIKER
