IN THIS GATE – LEXIE LOU – TO HER INSIDE – STRUT THE COURSE!
An intriguing little event highlights the Woodbine card today. It is not a stakes race but it could well as as 2 champions and a potential stakes star are going to play cat-and-mouse in a 1 1/16 mile Tapeta race.
The race is a means to something else for both gals and even the 3rd favourite MOON RAINBOW, a promising Sam-Son Farms filly who is the sneaky entrant in the race. The field is completed by front running type Clarkston Hope and stakes winner Sweater Weather.
LEXIE LOU likely has a tactical advantage over Strut the Course plus she has raced twice this year with mixed results. Strut the Course looks and is working very well but has to get going early.
