PLATE TRIAL – HERE’S YOUR PLATE!

– EDDIE IS OUT and the QUEEN’S PLATE, the 150th edition, is now wide open.
We will get a big idea of what is to happen when the TRIAL is run on Sunday with a post time of 4:35.
The morning line favourite will be EL BRUJO but the hype that maiden winner SOUTHDALE is getting (89 Beyer from his maiden win) could mean he will be the fave.
The race is a good one and while it surely takes away from the Plate with all of the main entrants in the race, it’s a good betting event (if you dare) and strategically, it will be important for jockeys and trainers to size up their runners during the race.
Look for many folks to save early and try and finish late.
