I’m going to slow down eventually, I am doing a documentary on my life, a 3 part series.
If you look at yourself in the mirror, you always ask yourself this question ‘what is going to make me persevere every day? But being 50, you will appreciate your life. Your kids are growing up too fast these days, turning 50, I am hoping to surivive to 75″

HEAVY RAIN WEDNESDAY AT WOODBINE…firm course could turn soggy
from European trainer ROGER CHARLTON:
“(head lad) Steve Raymont reported that both Bated Breath and Sea of Heartbreak have had a really good journey and were happy and relaxed when they had a trot round at Woodbine on the course yesterday. The ground is firm but unfortunately there is plenty of rain forecast.”
Those with any of the 20 European horses who have landed at Woodbine for Sunday’s giant day of racing will be talking a lot about the condition of the turf course from now until Sunday.
The rain figures to subside in the next few days and it will be windy but there are still chances of rain for Sunday.
Last night was a wild night for racing with strong, strong winds helped speed win a lot of races and making it tough for horses to close.
It was a good night for trainer ALEC FEHR, who won the late Double with MAVERICK MAN (maiden, claiming $12,500) and MACALLAN, owned by Steve Gilmour and Stephen Johnson.
Jockey EURICO ROSA DA SILVA won the DAILY DOUBLE, THE FEATURED ALLOWANCE RACES. The 1st went to the 2yo TOWN PRIZE (Speightstown) while the 2nd race was the 2nd straight win for RED EAGLE (Legal Jousting).
Perhaps the most fun was seen in race 5 when JEBSTER, owned by popular outrider RICKY BROWNE won the $11,500 claiming race with a rail rally.
Jockey Patrick Husbands looked like he was nearly going to fall off the 6yo gelding as he celebrated with a similar celebration that he had when Wando won the Triple crown.
In the winner’s circle, the outriders joined Browne and his horse in the winner’s circle.
