According to the Derby Newsletter, Glen Todd reports that the 2022 Live Racing Schedule and important dates for Hastings Racecourse are taking shape. “Our talks with Hastings have been very productive and both the horsemen’s associations and the track operator have in my eyes any ways very cordial and we have agreed on a number of subjects that relates to all of us. Here is what I can tell you so far.” :
The track and the associations have agreed to a racing schedule starts on May 7th (Kentucky Derby Day) and ends on October 16th. Racing will be back to our regular Saturday and Sunday’s with a post time of 2:00pm.
Once the BCHRIMC agrees to the schedule and then its forwarded to GPEB for their approval and then on to the CPMA for final approval.
We will publish the schedule once we have final conformation.
Also please find the revised stakes schedule and several of the races purses have been raised to protect our Grade 3 status on some stakes.
