You're Listening to an article from Canadian Thoroughbred.com. In Memoriam: Imperial Miss .
Sadly, Imperial Miss (Imperial Falcon – Arch Miss) was euthanized at age 25 on Friday April 4, 2014 due to the infirmities of old age.
Bred and purchased from Windfields Farm at age two, Imperial Miss was the dam of 12 foals – eight winners, including stakes winner Estonia, stakes placed Imperial Alydeed and One Across (G3) and winners of $ 1,377,784.
She was among the leading broodmares in Canada during her career and had been retired by Longview Farm (Ashton, Ontario) at age 20.
Longview has kept one of her two daughters, Molly Maguire, who is currently in foal to Silent Name.
