Fort Erie Race Track will continue operating without fans “for the time being.”
While stadiums and tracks in Ontario can begin filling grandstands to up to 25 percent capacity starting Tuesday, the Fort Erie Life Racing Consortium won’t be welcoming back fans immediately.
“We would love to have all our spectators and race fans back. We miss them,” Hayley Morrison, the manager of media and communications, said. “But Fort Erie Race Track has an obligation to its staff and horse people to create a safe environment.”
