More than 1,300 horses were catalogued for the Kentucky sale which began on Monday, Jan 13 and goes to Jan. 15.
This year’s catalogue has 78 entries: 41 broodmares, 15 weanlings, 16 yearlings, four horses of racing age and two stallion seasons.
As the breeding season gets set to begin in North America, the last major mixed sale begins Monday at Fasig-Tipton in Lexington.
The day's top seller was Princesse Lele, a 2-year-old filly by Quality Road out of Carina Mia who sold for $750,000 to Three Chimneys Farm.
