Amalfi Coast coasted to another graded stakes score, this time in Sunday’s Grade 3 $177,700 Ontario Fashion Stakes at Woodbine.
Bred and owned by Terra Racing Stable, the five-year-old daughter of Tapizar notched her second graded victory this August in the Grade 2 Royal North Stakes. Two years ago, she won her first graded event, the Grade 2 Bessarabian Stakes.
The Kevin Attard trainee notched the hat trick courtesy of an enterprising ride by Justin Stein in the six-furlong Tapeta race for fillies and mares, three-year-olds and upwards.
