Six Woodbine-based horses are among the final entries for the 29th Breeders’ Cup World Championships, set for Santa Anita Park, in Arcadia, California, this Friday, November 2, and Saturday, November 3.

Post-positions and morning-line odds for Delegation (Post 2, Dirt Mile), Dynamic Sky (Post 6, Juvenile), Pool Play (Post 1, Classic), Spring in the Air (Post 3, Juvenile Fillies), Spring Venture (Post 5, Juvenile Fillies Turf), all for Woodbine-based trainer Mark Casse, and Nancy O (Post 9, Juvenile Fillies Turf) for Woodbine conditioner Carolyn Costigan, were established in an afternoon press conference at Santa Anita Park.

Other horses with Canadian connections include undefeated U.S.-based, Canadian-owned Awesome Feather (owner Stronach Stables), who drew post 5 in the Ladies Classic, multiple graded stakes-winning Ontario-bred millionaire, Marketing Mix, who has post 9 in the Filly & Mare Turf, Bridgetown (owner-breeder Melnyk Racing Stables), who will leave from post 9 in the Turf Sprint, and Jersey Town (owner Charles Fipke), post 3 for the Dirt Mile.
